The Caerwent Campaign
The Saddle of Eporix
The cult of Epona flourished among the Iceni before the coming of Romans, and the horse goddess was widely worshipped among chieftains and warriors. Eporix, one these men, ruled wide areas in Brecklands, and commanded a sizable host of glorious warriors. His blood is said to run strong in the veins of several noble families, and both the lords of Harling and Wolfpit claim descent from this mighty warrior king.
The richly engraved saddle possessed by the knights of Harling is said to have once belonged to Eporix himself. It is a prized heirloom, and has seen several battles against Romans, Picts and Saxons alike. A legend has it that no rider has ever fallen from the saddle as long as they still drew breath. Sir Tarian currently possesses it.
The Saddle of Eporix grants +4 to DEX versus Knockdown.
