The Caerwent Campaign
The Bracelet of Eporix
The cult of Epona flourished among the Iceni before the coming of Romans, and the horse goddess was widely worshipped among chieftains and warriors. Eporix, one these men, ruled wide areas in Brecklands, and commanded a sizable host of glorious warriors. His blood is said to run strong in the veins of several noble families, and both the lords of Harling and Wolfpit claim descent from this mighty warrior king.
Eporix was claimed to have received three horsehairs from the goddess herself, which he then wove into a bracelet. This humble-looking, deceptively durable piece of strand passed on to the men of Wolfpit, who have always worn it around their wrists as a reminder of their heritage. It gifts riders with acute empathy towards horses, making them able to cajole their steeds into increasingly challenging feats of speed and maneuvering. Sir Owain currently holds it.
The Bracelet of Eporix grants +3 to Horsemanship when worn.
